Tools to use when searching for a job
Here are quick suggestions when looking for a job change.
Linkedin is super critical. If you profile is not well made, you lose attention of the possible hiring manager / recruiter.

Resume needs to be covering a lot of tangible / quantifiable results. Not just responsibilities.
If your resume mentions statements like
· Managed the company's end-to-end merger and acquisition processes.
· Led the restructuring of the organization's debt
· Developed a new risk management framework, reducing the company's financial exposure.
· Improved the efficiency of financial processes and systems
· Played a key role in driving the company's international growth, expanding financial operations into new markets.
then its bland, boring and nobody would like to read. Instead change them to something like -
• Successfully led 3 major acquisitions, resulting in a 40% increase in company market share and a 25% rise in annual revenue.
• Reduced overall debt by 20%, decreasing annual interest expenses by $2 million and improving the company's credit rating.
• Implemented a comprehensive risk management system that lowered financial exposure by 30% and increased compliance with regulatory standards.
• Enhanced financial reporting accuracy by 50% and reduced monthly closing time by 25%, leading to more timely and informed business decisions.
• Expanded financial operations into 5 new markets, contributing to a 15% increase in international revenue and strengthening the global presence.
You see the difference. The new statements became more impactful and quantifiable.
Twitter (X) just recently launched the “Jobs” section. Which means you can search for jobs on Twitter too now.
Majority of the decision makers hang out only on these 2 platforms. Either Linkedin or Twitter (X).
Type “https://x.com/jobs”
and search for your desired roles. Identify who is hiring, connect with them on both Linkedin and Twitter. See whichever platform they are active on and can give you time.
I hope these were helpful.
